Flat Vector Portrait/Avatar in Illustrator

I this video, I’ll show you How to make flat minimal vector avatars or vector portrait (whichever you prefer) from an image in Illustrator. Here I made Robert Downey Jr’s Flat Avatar illustration. This is speed art with an explanation in between.

This technique is very easy. First, make contour shape more like cartoony or stretched a bit then follow the steps I have done in the video.

Do not get deep into detailing because that will kill the style.
